Club History:

Worcester City were formed on 3rd September 1902.

They won the Worcestershire Cup every year from 1908 to 1914. In 1914 they won the league as well. They won the championship for a second time in 1924/25.

They won the championship again in 1929/30 when they scored 153 goals in 34 league games and won every home match. That was the last time they won the championship but they were runners-up three years in a row after that. In 1938 the club switched to the Southern League. They won the Southern League Cup in 1940.

In 1958/59 they made it to the Fourth Round of the FA Cup, beating Millwall and Liverpool before they got knocked out by Sheffield United. In 1977 they won the Division One North Championship and two years later they became the Southern League Premier Division champions. In 1998/99 they finished in the top ten of the Dr Martens league for the fifth year in a row. This is a record that no other club in that league can match. Since then, the club has maintained respectable finishes of eighth in both 2001 and 2002, sixth in 2003 and fifth in 2004.
