Ian Lowe was included in the official team photo and is
expected to have signed.
Lowe
come from Vauxhall Motors, where he kept goal in their
‘A’ team last season after making 2 pre-season
starts for the ‘Port, away at Radcliffe and at Formby.
With
5 substitutes now available in the newly-formed Nationwide
North, an understudy for number one Steve Dickinson has
been on the list of manager Liam Watson throughout the
summer. Earlier in pre-season, ‘Port boss Watson
said he was not expecting his the new sub to compete with
Dickinson for a starting place, only to provide adequate
cover.
