LEADBETTER FEELING ILL
Friday 20th August 2004

Winger Kevin Leadbetter was substituted at Barrow because he was feeling ill, reports today’s Southport Visiter.

Leadbetter replaced by Kevin Lynch at half-time during Tuesday night’s 2-0 victory at Holker Street after providing the cross for Neil Robinson to open the scoring.

The Visiter reports Leadbetter ‘came off at half-time at Holker Street feeling ill and complaining of breathing problems.’

The ‘Port wideman is hoping to have shrugged off the symptoms in time for tomorrow’s trip to Hinckley, and if he has, is guaranteed a start. In his Southport Visiter column, manager Liam Watson revealed, ‘On Saturday if everyone is fit I won't be changing the side from Barrow.’
